An extraordinary line-up of major artists including Bob Dylan, Brian Wilson, BB King, Barry Gibb, Roger Daltrey, Billy Joel and Kiss will “come together” on November 17, the release date of a 34-track Paul McCartney tribute album titled ‘The Art Of McCartney.’

The album, on the Arctic Puppy label, features a real A-list cast offering their interpretations of Sir Paul’s songcraft from both his Beatles days and his solo career. Highlights include Billy Joel’s version of ‘Maybe I’m Amazed,’ Bob Dylan singing ‘Things We Said Today,’ Brian Wilson’s ‘Wanderlust,’ BB King’s ‘On The Way,’ Kiss performing ‘Venus and Mars/Rock Show’ and Chrissie Hynde singing ‘Let It Be.’

Roger Daltrey contributes ‘Helter Skelter,’ Steve Miller ‘Junior’s Farm,’ and the album also includes Smokey Robinson’s ‘So Bad,’ Joe Elliott of Def Leppard doing the Wings number ‘Hi Hi Hi’ and Barry Gibb’s ‘When I’m 64.’ Yusuf, aka Cat Stevens, covers ‘The Long and Winding Road’ and Paul Rodgers sings ‘Let Me Roll It.’

The first glimpse of the project comes in the form of this studio performance video clip of The Cure, with their version of ‘Hello Goodbye.’ It features a guest appearance on keyboards by Paul’s son James McCartney.
